I Have a Confession to Make…

Online exhibitionism is the guilty pleasure of the MySpace generation. Propelled by the success of PostSecret, similar sites spawn all over the web. The most recent one is i4giveu, an Israeli site that just launched and got featured in Techcrunch. The site invites you to post confessions and ask for the community’s judgment, either anonymously or publicly. The results are votes such as “76% thought this confession deserves forgiveness.” The confessions themselves range from sex, violence, animal abuse, and drugs to “being a country singer” or “questioning God” and are mostly somewhat dumb. If you’re a very active confessor, you can make it on either the Top Saints or Top Sinners list.
