This is lovely. I am particularly interested in the relevance of athletic experience in shaping expectations of innovation and of cooperation.

it's a big, silly point, but the modern corporation in america seems to try to harness American Football (perhaps baseball) behaviors and roles which seem to isolate individuals from their teammates and value control over flow.

there is an openness to a constantly changing and collaborative dynamic that soccer/european football engenders that american sports do not.

and, if you've not seen it, you must watch the movie Zidane. gorgeous.
