Great post, and I can't help but think that companies built around a genuinely sustainable business model will flourish with Generation G. Beyond simply extending empathy, companies need to truly create an organization that focuses on the triple bottom line of people, profit, planet.

With any research highlighting differences between generations I always wonder how much of the attributes and values are created by the life situation (age, marital status, economic situation) v. some fundamental differences in worldview and actions.

What characteristics will be enduring? How will the "fundamental" traits morph over time?

Personally, I'm excited about the potential massive mindset shift that *might* be occurring as we speak, because it will create the human base for the type of economic shifts that Umair is evangelizing.
